I did. All the time. She didn't seem to mind. Then again it was her name, and Claire was a pretty open-minded girl. Incidentally, the more people act shocked at a word, the more they say that you shouldn't use it, the more power the word has. If you truly want the 'C' word to stop being so offensive, start saying it a lot. Where I come from it's used often, by men and women for both men and women. As a result, it doesn't seem as offensive as it would in, say, the US. Reclaim it just like black people did with the 'N' word.

When women call each other the "B" word, it's defined as (My home girl, or just GIRL), but a man saying it means something disrespectful and degrading. About the "N" word, I'm black, and when we call each other that it means (Home dog). When a white person, or any other race, says it, we get offensive because they are usually adding the "ER" to the end. Blacks add an "A" to the end. The two words mean completely different things. The "ER" refers to ignorant.

You know you are right, females call each other b****, and laugh but when a man calls a woman that they flip out. The word should not be used period. That's like in today's society African Americans (which I am one) call each other N**** left and right. Have it in all there songs but when someone outside their race calls them that they flip!!! It is ridiculous words like that should not be common in everyday use and it is just a respect thing, why do you laugh and joke about your friends calling you a B---- or N-----. I don't get it! I get offended even if it is from a friend.

Yeah I agree...especially on the "N" word. If it's soooo offensive then they shouldn't call eachother that. And women can call eachother the "B" word but it's not usually a happy situation so whether a man calls a woman one or a woman calls a woman one, it's not gonna be good.

it depends on what term and time you use it. i call girls "B", sometimes i mean babes, baby or boo and sometimes when we aren't in the right terms i call them B**** which most people is used to. the "N" word however, has only one true meaning to it's abbreviation. Black people consider it a slang when they call themselves the "N" word but when a white man uses it against them then it could be a problem. Nowadays, youths use d word alot without any offence to it.

Well if you are a B-word than I guess you can call other people who are the B-word and if you are the N-word than I guess it is cool to call other N-word the N-word

When a man or boy calls a woman or girl a ***** it basically means that they are lower than you or men. It is a very touche subject for alot of woman, because alot of men call woman bitchs so they think they have power over us woman.
