i know this guy. hes really nice and easy to talk to. i think that i like him more than a friend, but im not sure. im very happy with our friendship now, and i kind of think that i like the mere fact of having a boyfriend more than i actually like him. i am debating asking him out. should i?

If you are friends, then you should be able to go out with him without being committed to him. Go to movies, concerts, or out with a group of friends. If you like each other, things will develop naturally. If you aren't meant to work out romantically, you'll still have a healthy friendship with a member of the opposite sex that you didn't mess up by trying to turn it into something it wasn't meant to be. Very few girl/boy friendships can survive after one of them has expressed a romantic interest that isn't mutual. My advice is to NOT do anything to ruin the friendship based solely on the fact that you like the idea of having a boyfriend. I'm 30.

I am not good at giving advice but here it goes: if hes a good friend remember that your friendship is alway going to play an important factor. When you ask him and if he says "yes" ask him if even after you do break up (maybe) that you will always be friends and if he says yes then good luck.

that actually depends on how old you are. if you are happy by yourself, then dont ask him out just cuz u think u need a bf. but if you are okay with posslbly losing his friendship and him if he doesnt feel the same way you do (friendships never are the same after you let it slip that you like them), then i'd tell him. good luck, honey.... i'm 23 female....

Well, I'd say you should ask him out, just to sort out your feelings y'know? And later, if you decide that you really just want to be friends, then sit down and tell him how you feel. If he's as nice as you say, he should understand.

You really need to think about this before you act. If you do not like him as more than a friend than do not make a move. If you really like him than more than a friend, ask him if he is dating anyone, if he isn't than ask him out. GOOD LUCK.
