There's an internal fuse on the power distribution board on some Bush models and if you treat it roughly it breaks. If that's the problem take it to a repair shop and let them have a look. Shouldn't cost much to fix.
Who's up there knocking Bush? I've had a Bush Radio/Cassette player since 1982. It's been all over Europe and works as well as the day it was bought! I had a Bush radio alarm for 20 years and it'd probably still work if I hadn't spilt paint all over it! Conversely my whizz-bang Sony CD broke down three days after the guarantee ran out.

If it is dead then it's probably an internal fault. But are you trying to turn it on with the remote control ? If so try the button on the set.

Yes, I had this problem. I got a new TV.

It just stopped working when I was watching it and then wouldn't turn on!
