Name the puppy "Woof!"
1. It's a name he will instantly understand.
2. Your friends will be amazed that you 'speak dog' as you stand at your front door calling him: "Woof! Hey, Woof! C'mere, Woof! Come on boy! Woof! Here Woof!"
Of course, they may call the men with the nets and canvas jacket too...

Well it depends on the breed of dog, size, color, personality, appearance, if you want a human name or a cutesy name, etc...
but i do these names!:
girl: Tina, Mini (especially for small dog), Penny (also good for smaller dogs), Daisy...
boy: Buddy, Sparky, Bandit, Benji, Pete...

It depends on what it looks like if it is a cream color maybe Dusty is a good name or if it is white with brown spots Copper would be a good name or if it is a yallow lab Laya would be a good name. Next time say if it is a boy or girl or what it looks like.
