We have a black male from black dam & sire, and a brindle female from a brindle dam & fawn sire. What would the pups look like if we were to breed them together?

Very possibly all black puppies if the male is homozygous black (IE got the black gene from both parents). If he got the gene hidden by the black (which in dominant) from one parent or the other he could have half black pups and either fawn or brindle pups or both depending as to if he got a brindle gene or a fawn one. If he got the brindle there will be NO fawn pups if he's hiding a fawn gene the half ot the not black pups will be fawn & half briidle. with the small number of pups in a litter this could be scewed by chance a bit. ....

To get a true guesstimate you would need to know the genetics's of both dogs parents and draw up a grid of known facts using the dominate and recessive gene's, to come up with a reliable prediction.

Guality Breeder's breed to better the genetic pool of a specific Breed, to breed out bad qualities. The general public doesn't know enough about the breed they have, much less try to breed in a manner to keep the breed pure.

My guess, not knowing what the genetic pools are, would be, mostly black, it being the dominate gene for coloration & maybe a couple of brindle Don't forget the recessive gene that may show up.. You just don't know unless you have done your home work.

I am glad to see you are staying with one breed!!!! But there are things that the breed is predisposed to and if both dogs carry that gene you will have produced pups that will have twice the threat for them to have that fault. Each breed is predisposed to certain negative gene's and that can pop up as a recessive gene. This is were a good breeder will cull a litter and dispose of nothing but show quality dogs. It is the back yard breeders who don't know enough about the breed they have, which could be nothing but pet quality dog that a back yard breeder is selling just to make some money.

Just think about what the product would be and if you have the knowledge to make a knowledgable dicission.

some will be brindle and some will be black...possibly a fawn puppy, but its probably not likely....your looking for mostly black with maybe a brindle and very unlikely a fawn

You'll most likely get some of each - Some all Black puppies and some brindle puppies.

You will probably get a mix of both because of the genetics of your dogs. The dominant color will be the color you get the most of.
