It's about care and maintenance of the boat before you ever set sail. Granted, I have to depart from this comparison because barnacle-scraping, sanding, painting and lubrication of working parts don't translate well into descriptions of foreplay (well, maybe the lubrication part), but you understand what I mean.
And yeah, staying in port is important too. If your motion isn't working, a smart skipper can take the wheel and handle things herself.

You don't need a boat, an ocean or a port. As long as you can satisfy a woman, that's all you need.
Although the motion is more important than the size of the boat.

Both the motion of the ocean as well as the ability to stay in port. And big doesn't always mean better.

I vote for the "motion in the ocean." Some boats are too big and some boats stay docked waaayyy too long, but a nice soothing ride is always in order!

They are all important, but i would say its the motion and the ability to stay in port that makes it all worth while.
