Yes, it's the same mentality, but fortunately nowadays scientists aren't forced to deny their knowledge.

Defiantly. But at least the catholics learn their lesson and have accepted evolution as the fact it is. Doesn't matter though religious faith is dead. in 100 years all religion will be gone with just a few underground societies which will probably be discriminated against. That's the way it will be. Once science turned on religion god didn't stand a chance. Thank you Darwin for showing us the way. Say no to jesus say yes to truth as proven by science.

They are down to torturing the data. Look at the relative power of those who deny science. They are on the way of the dodo.

fanatical religion is making itself look bad everyday...the religious right basically got 'ousted' in the last election....people are getting tired of religious people killing and starting riots because they're too sensitive....if anything.....people of this generation and younger are finding more productive and beneficial alternatives than mindless fanatical dogma
