you are not supposed to drive w/ any type of hindrance. your reflexes will not be as well as they are w/out the cast.

You cannot drive your car if your right leg is in a cast. That is impossible. But it is possible to have someone drive you.

this past summer i broke my right knee and i was still able to drive as usual, the seat belts were a bit stiff, and the mirrors had to be re- set, get in and out the rightside, thank god that im not a girl, the wedgies were a bit traumatic. yes its awfully difficult and embarassing, but if you have to, it can be done. cast and immobilizers and all. by the way, i did not have an md do any of the work and everything ended ok

I really dont know if its possible, you might be able to get hand controls rigged but if not you may just want to stay out of a car until your out of a cast for both your safety and the publics safety

If you can then why are you asking everyone how to? If you cant drive without difficulty then dont. The cast wont be on forever and you could end up injuring yourself and others.

enable's only say, that your accurate foot controls the accelerator and brake and is designed for known foot/leg circulate. in case you restriction that organic circulate, it ought to bring about sloppy reaction time besides as perfect administration and time in shifting your accurate foot from accelerator to brake. Does this forged enable your knee to bend? are you able to flex your ankle? Will this circulate influence the healing of your leg/ankle/foot? a lot to guage i imagine. i ought to ensure to have someone stress me and only sit down and heal. even with each and everything it truly is why you're wearing your forged, isn't it?

Unless you want to kill yourself or someone else, there is no way I would personally try to drive a car with a cast.
If you hurt someone else or yourself, you're going to be completely liable, insurance or no insurance.
Do the sensible thing, and don't drive.

I have the exact same problem. My doctor said that learning to drive with your left foot is dangerous, but if you have no other option, then you have to learn. Start out on "back roads" until you get a feel for it.
