I weould stop for sure, send everything back to him. I'm not sure what he's up to but nothing is free in this world.

Did you make sure that the check he sent you cleared your account before you sent him the $1,800.00 back? If not, you are going to be faced with major problems when he deposits the check you sent him and things start bouncing. It's a scam that has been going on for a long time.

Wow...this does not sound very good.

Why does he have to send you a check in order to make money on his artwork unless he is up to no good!

If I were you I would stop immediately. This sounds like it is money laundering or identity theft. And they is a serious federal crimes!

Nothing it is a big rip off. The check will bounce he will get the money and you will be responsible for paying the bank for the money from the check. Please don't get sucked in by some con artist.
