What Secret Santa gift to get for a 22 year old girl?

I need to get a gift for an acquaintance as part of a secret santa exchange. She's 22 years old and the spending limit is $25. Does anyone have any ideas? (No I don't particularly know of any hobbies or interests of hers, I just need a general decent gift ;)

Yes I am a guy, and we are not coworkers, we are friends at an apartment complex.

Most ladies of that age tend to enjoy books or movies (an amazon.com or Barnes & Noble gift certificate would be appropriate), candles, journals, that sort of thing. I think that a gift certificate is most thoughtful in this instance, because you have selected a specific place or general idea, but you have let her choose her gift. It is great for an acquaintance and shows that you took the thought to go there but wanted to let her decide. $25 would buy a CD or book of any genre at a chain store.

She's not a girl! She's a woman! Get it straight! Anyway, you can give her a gift card of some sort. THat way it's not too personal. Maybe one from target or meryns or anywhere. If you're a girl, you can be more femenine and give her something like lotion from victorias secret or an ornament...but seeing as your name is Erik k, I'd go with the give card so she doesn't get any ideas...if you know what I mean!

You can go with a gift card to your local department store or if you see if she drinks coffee you give her a gift card to Starbucks. Personally I'm a coffee nut so the Starbucks gift card would be the way to go lol

Also I would be careful about giving her anything scented as half of the people state because she could be allergic to something just a helpful tidbit.

You can do the 'basket' thing"

1. Movie basket: microwave popcorn, candy theatre treats, and a gift card or dvd from Blockbuster or other video/dvd rental company.

2. Tea and coffee basket- a mug with selected teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Include some chocolate bars (Godiva, maybe?) and some shortbread cookies

3, A pampered basket: assorted shower gels, bubble baths, soaps and lofa sponges.

Those are my standard suggestions. You may be able to come up with your own ideas from observing this young lady at work.

Lottery scratch tickets, Gift cards to starbucks, barnes & noble. A nice bottle of wine. A seasonal DVD like "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" or "A Charlie Brown Christmas" A watch. Gift card for a peticure or facial.

Since you don't know of her hobbies or interests, I would get her something rather generic, like a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble or Starbucks. Since this is for an acquaintance, you don't want anything too personal, like clothing, lotion or underwear.

Avoid scented items and alcohol as some people have allergies to these things, gift certificates to the movies, or a nice resturant in your area, a pretty silk flower arrangement, ask around at work if anyone knows her better, and find out her likes and dislikes.

I would suggest either a set of Victoria's Secret Lotions and Bath Gels, can get three for about $25.00 or a gift certificate to have her nails done in that amount. I'm 23 and both of these would be nice from someone who didn't know me well.

Go to a "Bath @ Body Works." They have one in every Mall. They have allot of gift baskets priced under twenty-five dollars that any girl would love. Stick with the 'candles and lotions' gift baskets. I also suggest you choose a 'melon' or 'cucumber mix' fragrance, or anything subtle. She will defiantly like it.
