Have mankind lost all morals? Why doesn't anyone follow God's Law? Are people just plain ignorant of the laws and think they're more powerful than their creators?

Have atheists lost their minds? What makes them think that God doesn't exist? The fact that you're taking a breath of air is proof enough that God exist, what more do they need?

Ask the questions that give the question something to stand on first.

What are the 'Laws of God'?

But before that, which god is God, or is it gods?

Once you have those pounded out, you can figure out where to start with answering that portion.

And no, man kind hasn't lost all morals, many have shed the utterly useless ones. If you need a book, or god, to tell you that something is wrong, well, you need a bit of help apparently.

Atheists look at the world and have no need to see some kind of god. There is no need for god, there is no evidence of god, and god hasn't appeared to have any impact on life as it is now, thus there is no god.

The fact I'm breathing air means, there's air and I breath it. There's a good bit of information in how that came to be if you're willing to look.

Wow. Talk about naivete. Gosh, where to begin?

1. Morality is subjective. You will observe please that it varies from place to place, culture to culture and generation to generation. Your version of morality, regardless of where you think you got it, it not neccessarily any more valid than anyone elses.

2. LOTS of people follow the laws of the gods in which THEY believe. These may or may not be the same God(s) in which YOU believe. Again, your belief does NOT make your point of view more valid then theirs.

3. Breathing is not 'proof' of anything other than the fact that some animals on this planet have developed physiological means to oxygenate their blood via respiration. That too 'scientific' for you? Try this then. We breathe because that's how our species has evolved to meet the limitations of our environment.

4. What more do we need? How about some actual evidence? Not the writing of a bunch of white dudes 300 years after the death of a wise man, but evidence that doesn't have any other explanation.

because mankind's law is more powerfull.

And most importantly why can't you prove god exists if you want us to follow gods laws.

Guess what? I have a set of laws too handed down to me by a large sphagetti monster.

Why don't people follow those laws. There is as much proof that my sphagetti monster exists as there is god.

My question if god did exist would be how long is god going to keep on being a deadbeat before filing for bankruptcy?

I mean all these "acts of god" that have destroyed property over the years are gods fault, therefore through his intentional tort or his negligence he owes people money but has not paid.

Is this the kind of person or thing you want to worship? Someone who isn't even honest enough to adress thier own debts? Forget about paying, he just skipped town!

There are people who try to follow The Laws God, the God of their particular religion. What? you thought I would default to the Christian God?

As a Christian do you follow the Laws laid down in the Old Testament or are you of the New Covenant? There is a difference ya know.

For those not of your religion who have faith that theirs is the valid path, The Laws of God that they follow are not the same as yours. Christianity is not the only belief system in the world.

The fact that we are breathing air is proof that we can breath the chemical soup that makes up our atmosphere.

>> The fact that you're taking a breath of air is proof enough that God exist, what more do they need?

Air is not proof of god, anymore than the existence of reindeer is proof of flying.

>> Why doesn't anyone follow God's Law?

Deuteronomy 22:11:
Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.

Leviticus 11:9-12 says:
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Leviticus 19:27
You shall not round off the corner of your head, and you shall not destroy the edge of your beard.

---

Seems like a lot of these so-called "laws" are in fact, quite stupid.

People who have a direct experience of God say that it's unconditional love with no hell, no sin, no judgement, no punishment, no special reward, etc. But yet the majority of the world attaches itself to human projections of god. If you're unwilling to accept this, then how do you expect people to accept anything you're presenting? It would be helpful to look at the fact that we humans are the product of conditioning: what we've been taught. If you were raised as a Muslim, you'd be stating those beliefs as if they were true. Only when we have the strength to question it all do we have what we can all our own experience.

god is manmade.
Why is it the most brilliant people to have ever lived do not believe in god? Why is it that very intelligent people do not believe in god and very stupid people do? There is no reason for god to explain any aspect of our existence.

In case you didnt get the memo, atheism is for people who question everything and won't be told what to think.

regarding this:
"The fact that you're taking a breath of air is proof enough that God exist."
This is not proof at all, you moron.

Raysha, as a christian, i understand your frustration, but if you really want people-esp. from other religions- to listen to you,you need to think before you write. There are days i want to lash out at them too, because I love Jesus and know that He is real, but when I read how Jesus responded to people, He was always loving and forgiving. He saved a prostitutes life, He ate with sinners, etc. He never lashed out at them.
to respond to your question, we live in a sinful world. Let me tell you what has happened...society has become acceptable towards the smaller sins ( for example:birth control pills), which presently is moving to bigger ones(for example:abortion). Of course this will lead to death of a nation. we must pray for the ones who are mislead and pray for each other not to get caught up and continue to follow God.I love you and God bless!

Plenty of people following gods laws. Just because you take a breath doesn't mean god put it there. It has taken hundreds of millions of years of evolution for you to be able to take a breath like you do. How about Gods law of being honest, you're not following that one in this question. How about gods law of love thy neighbor, you're not following that one either.

Dear Raysha,
People become confused when everyone tries to tell them what God's laws are, and none of them seem to have the same version. Besides, they always seem so mean and angry and unfeeling about it, as if they were more important in God's eyes than anyone else.

Atheists haven't lost their minds, they are using their minds to try and reason their way through life. Finding faith is never easy, don't make it harder on them just because it was easy for you.
