Don't shop there.
I'm sure the hindus are equally shocked that we eat cows.

Do you know any Korean men who would be willing to help you out with this? The only way you're going to help her overcome this is to socialize her with them, so you'll need some help from the object of her fear (preferably you will need several different Korean men to help out so that you are not just desensitizing her to a specific man). If she will let them within treat-tossing distance, start by having them come to the door, you open it, and they toss her a really fabulous treat (like plain cooked meat, etc). They should then turn immediately away like to leave, and you close the door behind them. Repeat until she seems comfortable with him at the door. If she charges the door, block her off from the door with a baby gate so that your "helper" doesn't end up scared or nipped at. Then gradually have them walk a step or two in before tossing her the treat, then spend a bit of time inside visiting with you before she gets the treat, then waiting until she approaches them to get the treat, and finally she needs to allow them to pet her to receive the treat. Don't go to the next step until you have mastered the one you are at. If she gets upset when they get anywhere near her, take her outside into a large open area. Approach the man, and as soon as she sees him, say "good" in a happy voice and treat (or click & treat if you use a clicker for normal training). Then turn and walk away. Next time get a bit closer, and a bit closer, and so on. When he's close enough that he can be the source of the treats instead of you, he should toss her the treats. You basically want Korean men to mean getting really great treats in her mind. Don't expect this to happen overnight, it can take some time. But if you stick with it, she'll make steady progress. Don't push her faster than she wants to progress. If she reacts badly, go back to the point at which she was last comfortable and do that a few times before ending the session. You want the last experience in any training session to be a happy one for her.

We should stay out of it and allow them to do as they have always done.
In countries where eating dog, cat or other domestic animals is common place we fail to realize that they don't just go round eating people's pets. They differentiate between pets and food.

Change begins at home.
Last year, we, in the USA, murdered over 4 MILLION dogs!
I don't believe that we can tell the world how to treat dogs until we stop massacring our own.
I have watched the videos and see the pics of the plight of the poor Korean dogs, and it is a nightmare! but, the killing rooms at shelters across our nation is a nightmare, as well! Not to mention the laboratories!!!
I watched a video of the Iams/Eukenuba laboratory slice a chunk of meat out of a roomful of beagles..just a big chunk out of their back thigh..and leave the beagles laying a a mat on the floor to recover from the sedative, and then put back in their cages with NO painkillers! Just to see how fast they would heal...
Change begins at home..

Don't be so judgmental. They are not b****** because they eat dogs. In other countries, we might be looked down on or called b****** because we eat cows and pigs. In other countries, eating pigs and cows and lambs (like we eat) might be disgusting, but we find it perfectly normal. It's the same case here. In South Korea, they might be perfectly fine with eating dogs. Also, in South Korea, not everyone eats dogs. It's only in some places. In South Korea, it's different from here. Dogs usually aren't considered that "important." I'm not saying that I approve it, but just look at it from a different perspective.

NOTHING!!!!!!!! Do you want the people from India coming over here and saying we cant eat cows? They think cows are gods. Each country has their own idea of what is food and what is a pet. We have too many problems over here just trying to stop over population of unwanted animals. Put your energy into saving them.

Why should we shoot them? Just because you and I don't care to eat dog, and find it a little disturbing to think of eating our pets, these people raise them for food, much like we raise rabbits and chickens for food.
I have chickens that I won't eat because they are pets, but my neighbors eat their chickens all the time. It doesn't make them barbarians.
Our culture is much different than that of the South Koreans, and we should not judge them.
