I met this guy and we went out on a date. He was very nice and sweet. We had a great time. He lives in VA and I live in MD. We went out on a Thursday and saw eachother again (at his request) that same Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We kissed, but didn't take it any further. When he was leaving he was giving me kisses telling me he'd call me everyday he was away etc... and even said I love you - although I don't think he meant to say it. He went away for a vacation that Monday to Cali and then came back, but something was different. He didn't make any time to see me, and I still haven't seen him. His excuse is he had to study for his finals which btw are today... ok. So he tells me that he still feels strongly about me but he hasn't made anytime to see me. I am so hurt. He told me last night via instant messenger that since he's hurting me, maybe I need to forget about him. I told him if that's what he wanted he should just say that instead of putting it back on me. He said he doesn't.

But could he seriously be thaaaat busy where he has no time to see me in going on 3 weeks? When we talk he's all "baby" this and "sweetie" that and telling me how much he misses me. But I don't know what to do.

move on, he's allready implied that he does not want you. it's funny that women are the ones who are supposed to be good at picking up subtle things but sometimes they can be completely blind

Maybe he cheated on you. All of a sudden he goes on vacation and starts acting weird? That's not a good sign. He did something bad, and now that he sees you again, he's feeling guilty, anf being around you will just be choking him with guilt and sadness, because you didn't do anything to deserve to be cheated on.

His LOSS not yours! You need to find a guy that will be honest with you.
It's possible that the time away made him realize that you two were moving to fast and he got cold feet. A man that's really interested in you will not play games.

Just wait til finals are over. He's probably just extremely stressed out, over them. I know I am, and I haven't had much time to see my girlfriend either. If things don't go back to normal after finals are over you should confront him about it.

girl DROP...HIM!!!!!! hes totally playin u no guy falls in love that fast hes proly only after one thing and theres no way he could be that busy...and anyway if he really loved u he would make time in his "busy schedule" to come see u
p.s this happened 2 me 2... coupla years 'go and he was only after that same one thing when i wouldnt give it 2 him he started chasin' after the next skirt 2 breeze on by.
