Yes, I think it will look fine. Ask your hairdresser and take his/her advice.

If your hair texture is straight and fine (not thin hair, but individual fine strands) then a bob might work, but otherwise, I think super thick hair is too bulky for bobs. Also when you cut your long hair you get more volume. I suppose the cut can work if you get your hair thinned out, but that's probably damaging to the hair.

No, and this is from experience. If you have thick hair and you cut it into a bob all it's going to do is make your hair look poofy. Think about it; there's less hair to weigh your thick hair down, and then cut all in one legnth it will just look thicker. If you must have short hair I would recommend getting layers cut into it as well.

Make sure that your hairdresser knows what to do with your hair! If it is thick and wavy, it might get curlier (and look a lot shorter than you want) when bobbed. Your hairdresser can cut the ends differently for different effects (ie razoring the ends or layering, etc). Try it! You just might love it!

Yeah, I have very thick hair and I have done all kinds of things with it. The short bob was cute when I had that cut.

Thick hair usually looks good with a bob.

i'm 5 feet 2, quite petite and used to have an identical hair colour as you and wager what? Now I really have a bob! Hehe. i imagine you need to pull it off and with respectable straighteners it truly is rather person-friendly to handle. It seems very present day and is superb chic on the mo. about the bangs, I used to have an aspect fringe and that regarded advantageous. i imagine it may look tremendous with an aspect fringe (bang). it truly is advantageous to tie up see you later as you've kirby grips or hair slides because at chin length, some hair does fall out of a ponytail. i imagine you need to bypass for it (:

You could always go to a salon that does computerized hairstyle simulations. That'll show you what you need to see. If you're going to be cutting off a lot of hair, donate it. I just cut off 12 inches and donated it to locks of love. They use the hair to make wigs for children with cancer.

An angled bob, stacked in the back, angling longer to the front - would be awesome. Using some smoothing lotion to keep it soft and straight...tooooo gooood.
