Hey cool! I live in the Bible belt too. So I’m not the only nonbeliever here?
Jesus isn’t running things. Religion has always been a tool for politics and power. It is as much today as it was 1000 years ago and 4000 years ago.

HaHaHa buddy, welcome to my world. I'm a Druid and my job shainghighed my *** here in Arkansas. Yeah, I'm tired of anyone who tries to use their faith to control others. It's not right. People need to accept and respect others for their religion, instead of using religion as a weapon. Someday they'll take the hint that we don't all want to be Christians or Catholics or Mormons or whatever, and leave their problems at home. But until then, all you can do is just ignore them. Not saying be hateful or spiteful of them, just don't let them control you.

yes, religion needs to be absolutely taken away from politics
it's so stupid and ridiculous to have fundamentalist christians poking their heads in matters that should not have religious influence
america was made a country for people to escape from religious persecution, it was for freedom of religion, why are people convinced it was made to be a christian nation? were they being hypocrites when they said freedom of religion 200 years ago? did they not expect muslims, jews, hindus, buddhists, sikhs, agnostics, atheists, wiccans, and other people to be a part of this society?
this is the 21st century and it's really ridiculous that religion has become a bigger annoyance today
