I know what you are saying. I was anorexic when I was in middle school and I know how hard that mentality is. I'm sure your parents are doing this because they love you and want you healthy but for someone obsessed with weight all they are doing is making you focus on it more. My grandmother (a nurse) came up with a great method for this. Plan to build up to 8 glasses of milk a day. Start with one glass and over several weeks you'll get up to 8 a day. What it will do is slowly expand your stomach and you'll start to get more hungry and eat a little more. This way it won't be too much at once but will be gradual and a good way to get a few more pounds on you without overdoing it.

Please try to focus on some more positive things and maybe even look into meditation and/or yoga classes to help you focus on good, healthy positive things. You should be thinking about getting the right amount of lean proteins, fresh fruits and veggies and some dairy right now, not how many pounds you are packing on.

Your body will put it at the weight it is supposed to be, just trust in that. If you are active (not obsessively exercising though) and eat well, then your body will do exactly what it should. I do want to warn you though, I was anorexic and didn't take care of myself during that time period and I stunted my growth because of it. I am a normal height (5'7" but was supposed to be around 5'11") and am significantly overweight now (I'm 32) because of the fact that I didn't fix my anorexia problem in a healthy way in middle school. I wish I had listened to my grandmother earlier than I did. Please take care of yourself and be good to yourself so you can get better.

Yes, you have a disease, and so your brain wants to fight you and make you feel terrible. Don't weigh in yourself, just go to weigh in with someone else there, and don't look at the number. Stay away from the mirror, and keep healthy. Make sure you get a good counselor that you can talk to about your feelings. You are not alone, and you can beat this disease!

Anyone with Anorexia will tell you, that you are always recovering, it never goes away, you will always be in that fight. The good news is, with proper therapy, and medical supervision, the fight gets easier and easier to deal with as time moves forward. If you haven't gotten professional help yet do it!and if you have, than stay the course it gets easier

Your parents, even though they may be scared for you and meaning well, are dead wrong in how they are handling this.

Please go to your doctor or a teacher or counseloro and tell them about this and how you feel. There are also probably webistes on anorexia that you can visit that would have info. for parents to better understand and help with your condition and recovery--but how they are doing it is ABSOLUTELY NOT IT!!!

FIRST, YOUR PARENTS ARE ON;Y CONCERNED ABOUT YOU THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU DIE. SECOND, TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME. YOU HAVE TO REALIZE THAT ANOREXIZA IS A DISEASE AND CAN KILL YOU. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, PUT IT IN THE LORD'S HANDS AND HE WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY.
