I am looking to brew beer, but don't want to transfer it to the fermentation tank. Is there a way to boil the water in the plastic fermantation tank?

An immersion coil....however the temperature and the length of time required would probably damage the plastic tank. It would need to be food grade to start with. Best bet is to use a stainless steel pot...

Boiling in the fermenter will make the tank old and brittle before its time. You might do with an immersion heater, but make sure you're near a BIG drain, especially after the 3rd or 4th run.

Best wishes!

Depending on the size of the tank, you can microwave it. And there is probably a device you can submerge in the water to make it boil - similar to how you heat the water in an electric hot water tank.

Beware, test the plastic container first because some plastics will melt prior to or at boiling point.

It relies upon on the form of plastic. If the water tastes like plastic you probably shouldn't drink it. Is it risky to drink undeniable faucet water the place you reside? if so, perhaps you have gotten a cup of warm tea.

With a big enough microwave or one of those heating elements you put in the container directly.
