Wow, that certainly makes sense. Very interesting typology. Thanks.

Christ is the one who will crush the head of the serpent not Mary. Yes, mary gave birth to Christ but God could have made someone else just as good as Mary to give birth to Jesus, so she is not too important

Have you seriously considered the significance Pontius Pilate and the Hebrew clergy played in Christianity?

They saw to it that Jesus was crucified, thus fulfilling prophecy, assuring his martyrdom, making way for his ressurrection and ensuing godhood, establishing the cross as the primary symbol of the religion and generally paving the path that led to Christianity itself. Without them, all the rest of it is just a footnote.

1) She is NOT the mother of God!
2) Jesus is NOT God!
3) She is NOT the one foretold to bruise the head of the serpent - Jesus is that one.
4) Mary was a follower of Christ! Not the Mother of the Church!
5) The whole idea of Mary being the mother of God and the mother of the church is PAGAN, not Biblical or Christian.

yes. she is very important. but she isnt the savior. that doesnt mean i dont like her, or dont admire her. she was a very brave woman. she was pregnant...but she was virgin soo people looked down at her and were probably really hard on her. then to think she was to give birth to jesus!i would be confused and scared y i was having the savior of the world. then on top of everything she had to see her son die! how painful and horrible. yes marry was a HUGE importance to christianity. dont think we dont acknowledge her. i look up to her, but she isnt the savior her son is.

You are so right. It seems really silly for someone to believe in all this.
