If this is so, then here's my guess...
Your girl friend may be blind, yet wants to meet other people. Maybe not to see them physically, but to reach out and get to know whats out there in the world. Being blind, can make you feel as though your locked in a prison, if you can only reach so far with your relationships. Its fun to get to hear others talk, get to make friends, not feeling so tied down and helpless. Your girlfriend is curious, just like we all happen to be. Let her meet others, help her out, she will depend on you, and want your hand of encouragement.
