well I am very sorry for your situation. As long as your daughter has her family around her and feels loved she should feel great. I have a 7 yr old, and all she loves about the holidays is baking cookies! Try doing that with her. Also I would suggest looking into volunteering at a soup kitchen with your daughter, that will help her be thankful for what she has. Good Luck and Merry Xmas to you!

i don't understand approximately legally yet technically if he has the bill for it he can say something he needs so hypothetically in case you went to court docket for any such stupid challenge you will in all possibility could desire to finally end up giving it lower back yet thinking you have witnesses that it replaced into certainly a christmas present there should not be a controversy. besides on the top of the day as terrible by using fact the story is , your brother is a douche and clearly now which you would be able to no longer preserve your nephew he's pissed at you. people like him could be dealt with from a distance you do no longer desire hardship like him or his nephew. decrease them out. in case you fairly merely prefer to get it over with, provide him lower back the computer, be the bigger individual and make it clean that that may no longer some thing ideal to do and you wont be taking presents or offering help in destiny circumstances if he's appearing that low.

I'm sorry you're in this situation. There are a lot of charities which help provide toys and food for families in need during the holidays.
A lot of people with limited income still manage to have a great Christmas. Often, it's caring for each other and being together that's more important than the material things.

Check in with Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army often has toy drives and programs for children, your local newspaper will almost surely have a drive as well--if not for toys then for donations to help with rent, heating bills, etc. and it sounds like you may qualify for any of these programs. Get in touch.
Another good option, there are lots of on line sites that will show you how to make gifts for the holidays. Especially check out About.com which has sites and guides to most any topic you can imagine--and start with the "Frugal Living" site--it's great!

Above some good places to try; Toys-for-Tots, Churches, Radio Station etc. Could try and make something. I did this one year for family. Got some free wood from a Cabinet Shop and made everyone a Bird House. Also, maybe you have an old piece of Jewelry from your mother or someone and you could give her something like that.

Do you have a Toys for Tots in your area? That's the best thing we have here. I had my daughter when I was 15 & couldn't afford a lot of things & they helped me a lot at Christmas time. It's a wonderful program. I hate you're having these problems. I have been out of work since the first of August due to health reasons myself & if it weren't for my husband working overtime & being such a good provider, we wouldn't have anything for our two kids, either. I hope this helps.

You could go to a local church, Salvation Army, or contact the Family Independence agency. They might be able to point you in the right direction or have a program for Christmas gifts, etc. Hope it helps! Merry Christmas! God be with you!

I took a 27K a year pay cut at work in October, so needless to say this Christmas is gonna be slim around my house as well. I have 3 daughters and I was only able to buy them 3 santa gifts each, where normally they get alot more. Santa normally just leaves their gifts under the tree unwrapped on Christmas morning, but this year I am going to wrap everything in bigger boxes so that it will look like more than what it is and maybe they won't be disappointed.

You can try to get a family to adopt your family for Christmas. Try a listing on craigslist.org explaining exactly what you explained here. Also try charities (Catholic Charities) contact your local department of welfare, and some churches in the area. Good luck to you and Merry Christmas.
And for the people being negative. Some ppl just fall on hard times, pray it never happens to you!!

I'm really sorry to hear of your situation. I'm in the same place. The world isn't what it used to be, when people cared for each other. They'll give 500 dollars to a ripoff Tv evangelist, hoping to save their own a**, but they won't give a dollar to a hungry kid.
