I was wondering if anyone out there could help me with Christmas this year?

I have 2 little girls and recently obtained custody of my teenage sister who is 16!! I am not to much older than her and was a stay at home mom, with her being here i needed to get a job. My husband had been out of work for 4 months, just returning but we are so far behind! We did get help for the 2 little ones but because the the papers are not final with my sister we can't recieve any help for her. So I am asking for any gifts you think a 16 year old girl would like. Thanks for taking your time reading my ?. Any help would be greatly appreciated

16 is a hard age, Gifts are not everything, yeah they are great. But is sound like she needs love. Is there a piece of jewerly she likes or a book. try just showing her how great a family is to be with. You sound like a great person for helping her out. Try cooking christmas dinner with her. It will help out the bond. you could make cookies and pies together too.

Try your local churches. If you just got custody of her. Where was she before? If she was in foster care or in the system she should still qualify. Talk to her school counselor. Lots of times service organizations, or the PTA will adopt a family from the school to provide Christmas for. The recipients are always kept confidential in these cases.

what kind of music does she like? you can't go wrong with cd's.
and if she's into the ipod thing more than the cd player, than an i tunes gift card would prolly work too. and every girl loves clothes, make-up and money. good luck!!!!!!!!
