People would call you crazy! Thats what always happens....Look at David Koresh in Waco Texas...or any of the other people who claim to either be Jesus or have god tell them to do things....even if they arent crazy...people act and treat them like they are.

well, the standard for a prophet is to never say anything that doesn't come true and the penalty for false prophets was stoning to death.

Past that, the bible ends with the warning "If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book"

But the big test would be whether your book was consistent with the original 66 books in not only theology, but symbolism. Second to that, what would you possibly have to add that's not already covered? Would the God who declared he is the same yesterday, today and forever change his mind on something? The law (the old testament) is fulfilled and the new testment (grace through Christ) is in effect. There's nothing left except the fulfillment of prophecy that's already recorded.

and ur point is??

anyone who was genuinely spoken to by God
would probably be killed pretty soon after.
That is just the way of the world.

i am concerned at ur lack of understanding but do not condemn u 4 ur attitude. it is the same as sooooo many others. If u had not been misled, u would almost certainly be a better person.

i wish u were a king and not a pauper.

you could be.

Christians, moslems, jews etc etc etc

you are all daft because the only people who wrote these so called books from god were HUMANS. And they didn't write them because god told them to or passed on a message to tell them to.
They wrote them because they decided if the human race was to have any sort of cohesiveness and not self destruct then they needed answers to a very important question ie where did we come from.
Obviously they didn't have the answer to this question and so they made up GOD.

Well besides the abusive ending, an intesting question. The protestant beleif is that the Bible can not be added to or taken away from (It says that in it), which is one of the reasons why most protestants reguard mormonism as a cult. Oh... and by the way that's a very similar situation to mormomism and several other newer religions.

The christian bible does encourage outrageous behavior like saying god spoke to me. Have we really changed so much with preachers saying Katrina was gods punishment and was meant to be. If people really agreed wouldn't they be inclined to not help those victims. After all who would want to defy the will of god.

A guy by the name of J. Smith did that... But he was not Christian and those who follow his deception are not either... L. R. Hubbard did the same.... go for it... you just might strike it rich... but you will not "convert" any of The True Christian Faith... We already know The Truth... but plenty of others out there you could fool... course you do have to get in bed with the devil... your choice.

This happens in cults all the time, It was a good question before you started the insults. It could have even provoked some intellectual discussion.

Not to long ago you'd get thrown in the loonie-bin for saying you talked to God, now they call it Evangelistic Christianity and it's accepted as a religion. But oh well, whatever someone wants to believe is their own choice.

Um, Microsoft....? Are you trying to make a point that Microsoft is our God? Probably not but I don't think that God spoke to you if you called most Christians "idiotic faggots".
