I totally understand what you mean about not wanting a Black child to have a name like (Molly or Anna) and not wanting something that is extreme in pronounciation or spelling, (ex. Tatananyshea). But also something that isnt too unique to another ethnic group. With that being said, I would go classy unique
1. Paraisia (Pa-ray-jha)- (personal favorite)
2. Syierra (Sy-ear-rah)
3. Asha (african name)
4. JaLila (Ja-lee-lah)
5. Layla, Tavi, (classics)
6. Kori, Makenzi (new age spelling classic Euro names)
Good luck

well I'm Black and not from Africa, so I don't know exactly what you're looking for. There are white people from Africa, and they are considered African-American if they live in this country, so be specific in what you're looking for. I don't believe that names are separated by race.

Avoid any names that start with La, Ta, Sha, Da.... studies show that people with those letters at the beginning of their names don't do nearly as well in school or careers.
I'm just saying.
How about Sarah? That's a nice name. 80)
