Depends on what you are cooking. I would choose wine for more flavor but some people use beer for chicken. It's a personal choice.

You can cook with just about any alcohol if the recipe calls for it and it doesn't matter if it's beer, wine, whisky, or anything else alcoholic. The alcohols cook off anyway and is there to provide the specific flavor of the alcohol called for in the recipe.

I prefer to cook with wine, but I marinate some foods with beer. it makes meat tender and has a nice flavor.

Depends on what your cooking and if you want a nice sauce to go with it. But I will say wine because there are so many different varieties of wine: Sweet, bitter, full just depends on what you like.

It depends on the recipe, but wine's taste is a lot more refined and goes better with more foods (sweets, meats, vegetables) while beer is a lot more bitter and "rough".
I would always go with the wine, or maybe sweet liquors like Tia Maria (coffee liquor), Brandy, Rum or even Chicha (Traditional Mayan Liquor).
Hope I helped.

Wine is best for use in sauces with Chicken and Fish dishes. Beer is very good for the batters of any meat, as well as in Chili and cabbage rolls.
