Who is this b***** person who first started this Aryan vs Dravidian split?

India is heading towards the stars and you are bent upon digging a grave for the progress of this country!

Why does it matter what is the national language of India? I am a Hindi-speaking person and I am perfectly fine with whatever Indian language is the national language. Why create such a big fuss?

And I don't care who speaks Hindi and who doesn't, but why these double standards? You are perfectly happy to flog the cinemas for a Hindi flick, but somehow speaking Hindi is unacceptable to you?

Honestly how many of you Hindi-bashers actually dislike Bollywood movies and would watch only Tollywood movies?

I live in UK, and everytime I meet an SI, the first thing they ask is which part of India you are from. The moment I tell them I am from Delhi, they freeze and I mean actually freeze!! They would never speak to me again even if I were the last person on earth!
Not that I would enjoy the company of such separatist people!

Why can't you just say you are an Indian, why do you have to say you are a South Indian, as if they were two separate countries?

BOTTOMLINE:
ASK FOR A NATIONAL REFERENDUM AND CHOOSE WHATEVER LANGUAGE WINS. BUT REMEMBER NORTH INDIA ALSO INCLUDES NORTH EAST INDIA WHO DON'T SPEAK HINDI LET ALONE TAMIL.

BTW, have you "south Indians" decided amongst yourselves that you want Tamil? Isn't it that the Andhras, Malayalis and Kannadigas hate Tamils??

btw who showed the hostility first ?
Tamil language reacted . Every action there is a reaction, am an Indo Dravidan who belongs to the Telugu Tongue but not to deny the fact Tamil being the mother of all Indian Dravidian language and the oldest Indian language.
Come on it is INDIA Mother India , why must we not promote Tamil language in India and why must Hindi a language which is an Ino "Aryan" language be forced in the soil of the the native Tamil ground ?
It will definitly create opposition, as for the goverment being selfish esp during the time of the robotic Vajpaaye really speaks for itself, a real shame when Tamil language was fighting for the status of classical language though it is a clear fact of its quality, when an intruder language like sanskrit is considered classical it is an absolute due to jealousy and selfishness of the hindian politicians to control the status,

Why does it matter what the national language of India is? India is a melting pot of cultures/language groups. I am sorry to say but most of the Northern India would not be able to relate to a Dravidian Language. The fact is the Indian culture we know today is primarily Indo-Aryan. That is the reason why Hindi is the national language. However, I dont see the reason for people to fuss over something so trivial.

Which Indian language consider the national language of India as a hostile language- Tamil

why ?

well firstly Tamil is the oldest Indian and the oldest 4 living language in the world, but selfish Hindian politicaian tried their level best not to have the facts recongnised that even Tamil recongnised as a Classical language by the world claas linguistic researchers like Hyres it took this long to give the so call classical language status in the country of India itself .

Why is this so ? and why wont there be Hostility

There usnt a need to recongnise fact and the shame deed will only happen in India , recongnising its own asset

lol- "Northern India would not be able to relate to a Dravidian Language"

wat is the above crap, do not forget the fact that India is indeed the land of the Dravidian, it is not the south itself the home of the Dravidian but the entire India includeing parts of Pakistan which is the present Brahui is still in presence,

It is indeed a shame for southern India to be relate to an aryan language, being a Telugu i can feel the pinch and am glad of the attitude of the Tamil speaking nation

i being a mix of Aryan and Dravidian am proud to say that i am an Indian, sometimes iot really bothers me over the hostile attitue by the Tamils twds Hindi, could be due to the fact that the Tamils being the indegenious people of the Indian Soil and and the pride they have on their language, but now i very much suppose they have gave in and not having much opposition.
They are more of Indian concern than language concern

well the above post is full of crap, Tamil is the mother of Dravidian langugaes y would a Telugu or Malayaalee wanna hate Tamil for ?
I"ve came across a Gujerathi and Punjabi hating Hindi, what u got to say for that.

Indians are Indians i am for it....?
but are the Indians behaving in such way ?

I came across a an Indian from East Bengal introduing himself to a person of Delhi origin, and str after that she said ohh u r East Indian i am a north Indian.... well who are the seperatis now?
Every action there is a reaction if the action stops , the reaction will stop, if we embrace as Indians , then we can be considered as one blood race, if u were to seperate as north, south, east and west Indians, well this is neverending problem

Look at the chinese they dont care whether u r a Teochew,Cantonese,Hakkah,or Hainanese a chinese is a chinese....

This is wat we have to learn from them, an Indian must be an Indian and each Indian must be able to respect each and every Indian language.... but am afraid we are onl;y good in advicing and never good into practicle act ?

i can close my eyes and ears and tell you the anser it should be no other than the tamil language group of people but still on the fair side, i do agree the indian goverment being selfish in only promoting the hindi language, wat abt punjabi or tamil, so i am glad from the tamils unacceptance of hindi, let us accpet the fact on the indegenious quality of tamil .
I did research on it too and i am very much aware of how old it is indeed older than sanskrit, so it is the Indian goverment on the loosing side if they tend not to give much attention to a ntive indian language rather than giving all their attention to an indo-aryan language.
