I mean to some people it might send them messages but no one can judge you but you. If it something you like then keep you for you. No one can tell anything about you just from the color of your hair.

It depends on what you want to portray. If you're in a situation where you can operate with violet and red streaks in your hair, go for it. If you want to do something more mainstream, then you'll need to tone it down. Wild streaks are outside the comfort zone of some people and definitely send weird messages to them.

I don't think you are sendng any messages out except that you are unique. There is nothing wrong with having a few different colours in your hair as long as you like them. But, if it really is bothering you then I would go with blonde streaks. First, dye your hair (permanent) as close as you can to your natural colour. Then, put some thin blonde streaks which will look more "normal". But, I think hair is one of the many ways to express you so do what you want.

No it doesn't make you freaky. Everyone has their own taste in what they like. I'm going to do the same thing here soon. Don't worry so much about what other people think. If they are going to judge you on what your hair looks like without getting to know you first then you don't need to bother with those type of people.

I'm 51 years old and think that the new styles in hair are nice! Nothing wrong with adding color or having a freaky hairstyle even!
It's just kids expressing themselves like I did wearing my bellbottoms or mini skirts when I was young. Go for it! Live life to it's fullest and don't let others bring you down.

It makes you an individual who dances to the beat of her own drummer.

It really depends on what you're trying to do. If you plan on getting a job in the corporate world, yeah it would be a bit of a deterrent. That sort of free spirit isn't considered professional. After that, it's no one's business or call. If you like the look and it enhances your inner beauty, keep up the good work!

I have dyed my hair every color possible. And then one day I simply decided to grow out my natural color. I have to say that people treat you different when they see an unatural color of hair. It is the whole judging abook by it's cover thing. Not much you can do about them. It's all about what you think/feel. I say do what makes you happy and who cares what other people think. The people that know you know that you're more than that. So rock on with your bad self!

You dont look freakish you just look diffrent and diffrent is good. You don't want to go around looking like everyone else, thats boring. People are always going to have their own opinion no matter what color is your hair. Who cares? I think that color is cool.
