well, I help my husband run a tv repair shop. In the past 2 months, he has gotten about 5 Vizios, lcd and plasma. All have been between 1-3 years old and already breaking. He couldnt even fix 3 because the parts are already discontinued.

Vizios come at a cheaper price for a reason. Good if you just want a cheaper one, but if you spend a couple hundred more, the tv's life will probably atleast double.

Vizio hasn't been known to produce the highest picture quality LCD tvs. I know some people that are happy with them, and others that have returned their Vizio's. Who knows, maybe the newer models have gotten better. The best thing to do is to search the net for reviews on the particular model you are looking for.
