I would expect my body (soul) to remain in the grave. What is so shocking about that? Do you not read your Bible? When we die we lose all consciousness, we know nothing, we can do nothing, we have no wants or desires, no loves nor hates, we cease to exist. Our breath of life (which God loaned to us) returners to God and we await the coming judgment. We go nowhere upon death, except the grave. The Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hell both mean the same thing... The Grave, or the abode of the dead! Not a place of torment, that is a purely pagan belief, which is brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Catholic Church.
