The symptoms of food poisoning generally start between 2-6 hours after eating the responsible food. But it can take as long as 12-24 sometimes as well. If you've gone a day without getting sick, you can relax!

I've gotten food poisoning about an hour or so after I ate expired food.

Usually food poisioning will take effect in one hour ,but it will depend of what you ate and how much. Some symptoms could be naseau, vomiting, diarreah,possible fever.

45 minutes to 2 hours, your tounge will feel swollen and coated with a chalky white substance...then the physical sickness...it just happened to me two months ago...so gross!
