yes but not as nice as they are now. I used to have a beautiful mix of blone and auburn highlights in my chocolate brown hair that glistened in the sun. Since I dyed it my hair grows in much darker and I have natural highlights but they aren't as noticeable and nice as they were before. Sometimes you completely lose your natural hair color after a dye job . esp. brunettes for some reason

No. The natural highlights from the sun is from the sun hitting your hair. coming from the roots will be dark. Sorry.

If you color it now with permanent color, no it will not come back because you have not been in the sun.
If you color it now and let it grow out until the summer when you are in the sun again, then you will see the highlights come back.

I would advise dying your hair and when you want your highlights back buy this product call sun in and it lightens your natural hair while your in the sun.

When your hair grows out, it will be your natural color. You will not get sun highlights unless you are out in the sun.

So the answer is no.
