Just how does an adult send his adult children anywhere? This might surprise you, but children aren't the personal property of their parents.

I served 22 years in the navy. Not once, not a single time, did the military need to get my mother's permission to send me anyplace. You see, I enlisted all by myself. That's why it's called al all volunteer military.

Why? have they been drafted? Oooops, that can't be it. Volunteer Army and all that.

So, have they volunteered to serve in the military? Not to my knowledge.

So, why would he send a pair of party girls to Iraq? They're not professional warriors, nor are they ambassadors, or negotiators, or . . . they don't work for Halliburton, or any of the defense contractors . . .

So, why would he send them to Iraq? What possible justification is there for this ridiculous ad-hominem attack?

If they want to enlist in the armed forces my guess is that they'd go to Iraq just like everyone else.

We have an all volunteer armed forces.
