im dating someone, and he has a tendency of telling lies...when i know the truth, i will still ask him, just to see what he is gonna say...he lies right to my face...even when he is busted on a lie, he still maintains the same straight face...im sick of it and ive told him time and time again, i hate to be lied to...

There is such a thing as a habitual liar, meaning, it's become a habit for them to lie. I believe this is the case with this man, I would not trust anything he says.

THEN STOP DATING THIS PERSON! It seems pretty obvious to me. Don't you have standards? If you do, then stick to them girl! If someone lies, then they are a liar, what about that would make you wonder if you should be with this person or not? What else could he be lying about? You wouldn't have the slightest idea bc he lies all the time. He could be sleeping with every other girl in your town and giving you STD's, you have no idea. You cannot be with someone if they aren't being honest. The bottom line is you have no idea who this person really is, does that really seem right to you? Good luck!

Read this very carefully: ANYONE WHO LIES TO YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED AT ALL.
The only way a liar can be trusted is to stop lying and PROVE that the lying has stopped through truthful actions.

You already know that he is a liar and you are still with him. What are you trying to find out? Nothing will come out of it because whatever comes out from his mouth are all lies. How can you trust him?

I wouldn't trust someone that can lie right to your face. You will never know what is real and what isn't. I would save yourself the hurt in future years and move on.

no. ive actually known a few ppl like that. (which is a few too many). they tell lies compulsively. it gets to the point where they actually believe most of their lies. it shows in how if they get caught, they are almost more confused then they are sorry. unfortunately for you, ppl like that usually get worse over time....not better.

u cant trust a compulsive liar like him but you can trust a person who only lies on rare ocassions a little bit the best person to trust is a completely honest person.

you can never trust a liar, you've even told him you don't like it and he still does it. move on, save yourself the angry and hurt feelings. there are plenty of guys out there that will respect you and not lie to you.

I would be inclined to move on. He lies, you busted him "time and time again" and you "hate to be lied to." He is going to do it again, and who knows about what. You deserve to keep your self-integrity. You don't need that. Tell him why and move on--don't let him suck you back in, because he we do it again and again and again...
