Well, to be honest, every human being has a choice to follow whatever they'd like. So, covering ones body and being modest is a part of obeying the Lord, and that is a choice, as are the other obligations in our religion.

As a Muslim, each man and woman has the choice to follow what their Lord has asked them to do, and following it will of course gain them rewards, but not following it will have it's consequences. The head cover is actually a very small aspect of the religion of Islam, though it is often made a big deal because it is one of the most apparent qualities of a Muslim. The true essence is in the heart - believing in just One God and obeying none but Him is what Islam focuses on most.

There are many Muslim women who choose not to wear the head covering either because they do not know that it's actually an obligation, or because they know and are not ready for it or do not wish to wear it. I did not used to cover my hair before, because I didn't know a lot about my religion. Once I started studying it, it made so much sense to me and I began to see how covering my head and my body as well as following the other parts of my religion would actually benefit ME. And when I started following by praying, fasting, etc. I really saw a great difference in me and a huge change in how others treated me, too. I have a lot more respect for myself and in more unbelievable ways than imaginable, men and women that I know and don't know respect me far more, too. :)

I hope that helps. :)

In the Quran there's no mention whatsoever of women having to cover their heads, therefore, YES, ABSOLUTELY. Most of Turkish women are Muslims and they dress exactly like western women, with low-rise pants, tattoos, piercings, tanks, mini-skirts and NO SCARF. Some practicing ones rather cover their heads but it's written nowhere on the Quran that they SHOULD actually do it.

Yes, very possible. You are free to make whatever choices since you will be held accountable for them. Some muslims even do not pray or do not fast. Others drink and commit adultry. Some even kill. Hijab is an order you choose to obey or disobey and still be a muslim. Many muslim women in my country are not veiled. It's up to them

Peace

Yes it is possible .....infact in my country (muslim) many of the ladies don't cover their head unfortunatly..Islam highly appreciats it if a women cover her head....(Not the face, face covering is cultural mostly) ......covering the head is a degnity of a muslim lady and if a lady don't want that degnity its her own choice.......but she is still a muslim.

even a man who don't offer prayers regulary is still a muslim and is not excluded from islam. though he is not a good muslim but he is still in islam.

Yes, some Muslim women don't cover their heads (I do). The best dress is belief. There is no complusion in religion, Islam stresses modesty the most in the Quran.
I don't think that is the most important aspect of being a Muslim.
The best dress is again fearing God and striving to please him.
It your choice, some women cover who don't hjave taqwa, so neither can exaclt itself over the other. That my personal opinion from reading the quran and seeking guidance.

Islam gives the choice of wearing the head covering to the woman.
The Quran says 'There is no compulsion in religion'

It is not an option. It is a sin to show your aurat. Sadly, there are growing numbers of muslim woman not wearing the scarft. If you choose not wear, honestly, nobody is going to force you but remember, if you are Muslim, you cant fool Allah as he is Al-Knowing, Al-Mighty and Al-Forgiving.
So if you wearing it now, my advise is embrace the beauty of it. If you are not, do consider it seriously. We are given so many opportunity to earn credit for the ticket to Paradise, so why waste it.

I think it's possible for you to don anything as a Muslim woman. You could eat some of my Aunt's sausage and rice if you wanted too....
