I'm Canadian and I know perfectly well whats been going on. My husband and his family are Americans and I've been keeping a very close eye on whats been going on in the US since he and I first got together (almost 6 years).

I think the Christians are desperate to take it that way with all their talk about "lets take this back to a Christian nation" and the massive effort Bush has been trying to push through.

Its like they want everyones freedom to be taken away and everyone forced to live by Christianity.

Anyone seen V for Vendetta? Well, the US is headed in that direction if the Christians get their way.

Terrifying.

No, i think it is fun to have all different religions around, it makes life more interesting, besides if that happened i would throw down the government myself if needs be, this country was founded on freedom of religion and if Christians took over and tried to impose there beliefs on everybody, I, a christian, would help in throwing it down because it would not be amarican.

It doesn't surprise me to see so many Christians say "No," and for all the right reasons. I think the vast majority of Christians have a healthy respect for freedom of religion. It's only a small faction of selfish, small-minded people who want to impose their will on others.

I would not. I strictly support the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I had too many members of my family leave various parts of Europe for religious reasons, Protestant and Catholic. If it happened here, I'm not leaving my homeland. I would hope that the American people would rise up and fight a second American Revolution for religious freedom if it could not be achieve by peaceful constitutional means. This is America and we are a nation of laws, not of religious despots.

I hope that never happens. The day it does I'm selling my property in the USA and taking a suitcase of belongings and moving to Switzerland.

God wants his word to go out but he doesn't want to impose nothing but free will. USA came to have freedom of religion

God would not permit that. The True Christian Faith can not be compeled. All who have tried it have failed. Because any such action would not be of God.
