Well... if you wanted to name it something special, name the dog Special!
Unique names come unexpectadly... My friends mother named her dog Given because it was given to her by her 3 sons.
Names like these have more sentimental meaning. Try to associate the dogs name with an incident or action that happened when you first got the puppy. (example: if you got the puppy around thanksgiving.... possibly name it Thanks, or for X-mas maybe Rudy (Rudolph the Red nosed...)

I'm thinking male here, you didn't specify.
Mar Vito reminded me of a friend's horse. His name was "Token of Our Affection", given to her I believe by her husband and children (it was an old riding instructor from years back). She called him Token.
Of course for those young partiers, the name could mean something else LOL!

Look in a book and find a special name that you really like and look at your dog and picture him and think what is a good name that will suite my dog's personality.

Hmmm how about Danny, or Fluke, lol my friend said you should name it Princess, Prince, Cc, Aj, Babe (like babe ruth), Carter, Cameal. Seal, Buck, Cowboy, Ranger, Tex, Buddy, Itzi, Bob, Tiger.. lol name it what you wanna name it.
