Hi, im in month 6 of my invisalign treatment, and the results are fantastic already, im so pleased i choose these. You should go to a reputable invisalign ortho though because therey are not suited to everybody, and you dont want to pay all that money not to have your teeth the way you want when your finished.
My time for wearing my trays are 10 months,
Buy the way you take them out to eat and brush teeth, so nothing can get stuck in them, also no one has ever noticed mine and i have the buttons on my side teeth also, these are special glue of some sort that they attach to your teeth so that the tray has a harder pull, and this is not harful to your teeth at all.
Good luck

I have just completed Invisalign treatment. I highly recommend it! For me, it took about a year (everyone's case is different). The end results are probably the same as traditional braces, but if you don't want to be a "metal mouth" for 1 to 3 years or so, this is the way to go! If you'd like me to answer specific questions you have, feel free to email me at akaheba@msn.com. I'd be more than happy to share my Invisalign experience.

I had metal braces and desperately wanted to have Invisalign. The latter are more expensive but the doc told me that they look awful when you eat or drink something like carrot juice cos they get stained, so you look like a rabbit with orange teeth. Personally I would recommend metal braces, they are popular, everyone knows what they are for and nobody makes fun of it unless they are stupid.

It depends on your case. Mine was quite minor so I went with the invisalign. The result came out great and I'm very satisfied. I still have to wear my retainers 24/7 for the next two years. Make sure to ask them about the buttons that they will glue to your teeth to keep the aligners in place during treatment because they didn't tell me about them. These were quite uncomfortable. Good luck!

I lost my retainer 6 months when you have my braces off. i stumbled on it 2 weeks later and my tooth had already moved! Now my hollow, the rationalization I have been given the braces interior the 1st place, is back! UGH. So, be sure you many times placed on your retainer at night... a minimum of for the 1st a number of years after your tooth have been straightened.

i would always go for the traditional metal braces because they will blend in after a while and ive heard they get better results that the invasalign.
and if you have a dark colour like dark blue you can hardly notice the metal braces

My wife just finished using Invisalign and they were great. Felt great, nearly imposible to see. And by the way - you're supposed to take them out when you eat.
