e) other

I guess I would wonder why they feel they cannot be themselves all the time. Who are they really - the 35 year old office worker or the punk Gothic? We live in a free country but when people live totally different lives you have to wonder why? I am a counselor and someone that does this may seem fun loving to some but to me they are unstable and probably are very insecure about who they are inside! I feel sorry for someone like what you mentioned not because they can't have fun but because they MAY be really emotional confused and hurting inside!

I don't think it is either good, bad, cool or whatever. Embarrassing for their kids - you would have to ask the kids that.
Where this person works is irrelevent and so long as he/she does no harm to anyone else I would say to carry on enjoying being whatever he/she wants to be in their time off

A) good. they shouldn't be a shame of who they are. Plus i would think it would be cool if my parents were gothic. One time as was at McDonalds and i saw a old guy he was atleast 60 with a bam shirt and coverse shoes and he was wearing a pad lock necklace and he was jamming out to whatever it was he was listening to on his ipod. it was the cutest thing .

A) Good
D) Embarrassing for the kids.

A because at least you don't show it at work. And it really don't matter what you look like out of work. As long as your good at your job.

D because I wouldn't want my mom to be goth. That's freaky. Its time to grow up and be more mature

I'd say they are young at heart. It's okay to live alittle when ur older keep goin. but when u start seeing ur kids mates doin the same stuff may be time to stop.

E) Other. What they do on their time off is their business. As long as it doesn't impact the way they are at work, it really doesn't matter.

Everyone should follow their own joy. We need people who are original, who do what makes them happy, and who don't worry or care about what other people think.
