Drop the weight by 15-20% for a week or so and increase your reps by 2-3 per set

Try hitting the heavy weight again in a week or so

You'll be surprised how much you'll be able to do.

That's called "Pushing the Envelope" that anybody who works out at sometime runs into. I know what I did.Make sure you are inhaling and exhaling to the max at every lift and slow down while your breathing right.Try an extra 2 pounds for a week or so to break the envelope. What the heck you have your whole life to get to the extra 5. But I am no pro at lifting or life so Good Luck...

Surprisingly, doing squats will help this... you need overall strength in your whole body... often, when the upperbody gets more developed than the lower body, it plateaus because it doesn't want to become too disproportioned.

Develop better lower body strength and the upper body will come easily.
