i was with this guy for 8 yrs since i was 16 and while we were in south beach on vacation i got his name tattooed above my butt and now we broke up .and my new man hates it ..what should i get to cover it?

Lesson learned.
Go to a tattoo artist. A good one will be able to work with you and come up with something you like and have a passion for to use as a cover-up. Depending on size of name and colors, it will limit your options.

I'm a tattoo artist from kansas. Well there are a lot of things that can be done. you can't put just any picture over it, were trying to make it disappear. It's really hard to say without a picture. For some reason i'm assuming that it's written in cursive/script. In that case i'd set it on fire. Fire's cool cuz you can hide the lines of the word by making them part of the lines of the fire. but to TOTALLY cover it. You'll need something black. Black covers black and that's it. Maybe discuss some tribal ideas off the wall or custom work with your local artist. With a cover-up your options are extremely limited. It's not always easy to think of a way to cover up every different tattoo. Be open to suggestions from professionals. Not too many other people are gonna know anything about this subject even if they think they're some sort of expert.

I believe she might say Bravo for serving to and taking care of those humans at this dwelling' and the way tough it's to lose a buddy there while God calls them dwelling' however that your a high-quality girl to be there and deal with those high-quality humans like they're spouse and children of types.I love your play and in the future you must quite write one and perhaps we will see the title Elaine on Broadway..Thank-you for being there and being any such grand buddy to the men and women there as many haven't any one else on this planet however you' and the others that run the position..

Go to the tattoo shop with a few ideas of things that you like (butterflies, flowers, angels, tribal) and tell them it is a cover-up. Depending on the placement of the tattoo and the size there are only certain things they can cover it with. Take a bunch of pictures of things you might want a tattoo of and have the tattooist tell you what would cover it the easiest.

Yeah bad choice on getting someones name. That is like rule number one when getting a tattoo! Too late now I guess. But if you go to a tattoo shop and talk to someone they will give you ideas and try and brainstorm different things you would enjoy having on your body for the rest of your life.

either u ask a tattoo artist to work on covering it up by making something out of that or just remove it. coz even if the artist did a perfect job on it, ur guy will always be reminded of how it once was...

Gte it removed all together. Wh go throug the thought of everyday thinking that this image is there to cover up someone's name.
Or you can keep it and tell everyone that it was a dog that you were really close to and he dies from old age.

lol i did the same thing when i was 14! This is what i did, I put a heart on top of the name and it covered it up really well, and just to remind myself to never do that again i put "Never" on top of the heart and "Yours" on the bottom of the heart. that way in the future I will know that I am my own person and I never belong to anyone else.

please remember this and never get another person's name on your body.
as for covering a name, it is really easy. most tattoo artists would be able to cover it with just about anything. as long as it is big enough. so think of something you would like and go to an artist and see what they can come up with. good luck!
