Enjoy the single life while it lasts. Enjoy the fact that you don't have to go through all the boy drama, the pain, the heartache.
God will bring you that someone in His time. He has a plan for you. Don't worry. All you have to do is have faith in Him.

Someone gave me some real good advice the other day. You can't stop that feeling, but you can put it to good use by dwelling on this: Times will get tough. Life is like a tree. You have the leaves, which represents a season, temporary things, the feeling you have is temporary, and will pass, look to things you enjoy doing to help pass the the time. Then you have the branches, which represents years, the path you take is your choice, but the wrong path can lead to destruction. The wind can come along and still break the branch. And last, you have the roots, which represent life, nothing can take that away from you. When the tree is cut down, the roots are still there. When searching for something, and you find it, ask yourself, is it a leaf, a branch, or the root? When you have the answer to that, treat it as such.

Try meeting new friends at activities you like to do, or hanging out with existing friends. Just wanting a boyfriend for company is not going to work and is going to make you feel even worse after the two of you break up.

You can never stop that feeling. I'm in that situation now. The most you can do is get a hobby. Date but try not to get attached until you know for sure that you want to have a relationship. Unless you have trained yourself not to feel anything, you are going to have these emotions. Love, hate, guilt and loneliness are the strong ones that you can't control unless you do something POSITIVE about it. *Much Luck* :)

First and foremost, you need to learn to love yourself. Start participating in hobbies that peak your interest. Keep yourself motivated to do things. One you make the decision that you are okay being alone is when you will truely be ready for a relationship.

Be confident. Pick yourself up, feel those good feelings, and you'll just naturally attract somebody of like interests. Be confident and assertive ALWAYS, even if your not really feeling it right now. It'll get easier, and you'll be fine. Good Luck!!
