2006 Sonata LX V-6 since new has a clunking noise in rear when going at slow speed over bumps. Sounds like loose/worn bushing or bad shocks. Dealer says all is okay. Any ideas?

there is not any such element as a RWD Sonata. Hyundai has no plans to launch a RWD Sonata interior the destiny that i understand of. the recent 2010 Sonata would be a FWD platform. you could, whether, get a M/T Sonata (in case you could). yet resale fee would be lots greater helpful on the A/T

Sounds like a common problem, sway bar bushings, you can replace these yourself, all you need is a ratchet an extension and a 12 or a 14mm socket.

Best way I think is to call the service center in California. You can find it on Hyundaiusa.com. I had to fight with a Hyundai deal before and I called the service center in California and it helped. Asked them what you need to do and tell them you concern.
