I know every man is different, but am interested in your opinions... If initially you liked a girl, fancied her, etc, do you like it if she takes some initiative or do you prefer to do all the 'chasing'?

As much as you tell us girls we're too hard to read, do you actually like it when we're straight up or do you love the mystery?

This should be interesting I reckon! ;o)

I don't mind a woman being forward, but there is a difference between being forward and being needy

I suppose there is a kind of drama when I'm not sure how a woman feels about me, but I wouldn't say I loved the mystery when it drags on. Then it just gets annoying.

I think if two people are attracted to each other then they should just cut the crap and get together as soon as possible otherwise they're missing out. If I like a woman, then I want her yesterday, not next year.

So no, forward girls do not put me off.

on the few occasions where I have been offered it on a plate, the lady in question has - within a very short period of time- turned out to have "issues" in one way or another. Especially when my initial judgement was clouded by drink or drugs.

In the same way that girls who consider themselves to be ugly are instantly suspicious when a guy chats them up ( they can only be after one thing, right?) I think most UK men would be suspicious of the direct approach.

Notice I said UK men. In the states it's the women who are the predators?

My honest belief, I think I girl should play hard to get to a limit so the guy appreciates her and does not think just another hole which is a goal. But if you end up in a relationship than being straight up and truthful if the main priority if you want to see yourself happy.

Only if they are in my face about it. I don't like it when they come on real strong but if they ask me if I would like to go on a date with them then that's fine. If they continue to come on strong then I feel I don't have I can take advantage of that. I don't have to try too hard. So coming on to me to get the initial interaction can be fine but then you need to back off.

I'm wondering this too, actually? I'm one of these confident, straightforward 'say it like it is' type of girls and have found it so hard to find a man!
My current boyfriend loves me for it, others have just been a bit intimidated by it.
Come on guys...Do tell!

I`d prefer a girl who knows what she wants to do than having a mouse for a partner, someone who is shy at the crunch point

Boy, I wish there were some men who could handle a woman who just says what she wants. I seemed to meet the kind that want a "girlfriend" without evening trying out the merchandise first...zzzzzz.
