Oh don't be such an idiot......what does a GIGANTIC weasel weigh? A POUND???

My terriers(10-13 lbs) regularly work coon,possum,'chuck,...a tiny weasel would be easy pickin's.

I'd vote on the weasel. But I think the Highland Terrier would be smart enough not to fight a weasel.

dog, I think. A young male terrier- (an experienced ratter, I mean), a farm dog, would give a good account of itself. There's a huge weight and muscle advantage. And terriers are lightning fast, when the adrenalin kicks in.

I think most terriers would be "up for it"- to have a go at a weasel, I mean. But you are asking about a domestic pet, fighting a wild animal; so there's a big difference.

A soft "pet" terrier would get its face ripped off in seconds.

The terrier.
My cat killed a weasel a few years back though he lost part of his ear into the bargain!

I didn't know my boss fought with Highland Terriers...

Oh, wait, you mean the animal weasel, not my boss.
