I've had difficulty getting rid of this verruca - an old one that I've had for a long time. I've tried various products but they never seem to work - any ideas?

If you've tried loads of different products without success, then it's probably best to go to the doctor who will freeze it off for you.
Also, if you've not tried it, you can buy something called 'Wartner' which is supposed to freeze them in a manner similar to the way doctors do it.

Hope that helps!

bazuca always worked for me. also (this sounds creepy) of u scrape/peel the top layer off with a scapel (don't try this if u dont know how - a doctor did this for me) then put the bazuca on it gets straight into the actual verruca bit, not just the hard skin on top (doesn't hurt because the skin is dead/dried up). good luck! and dont go swimming too much or you'll pass them on!

I don't think remedies from the Chemists are much good; I agree that you should go to your Doctor, or the Surgery Nurse, and have it frozen, and cut out for good. In my experience, it's the only 100% way to deal with a persistent verruca.

When I had a veruca at the age of ten the doctor scraped it off with a scalpel, sounds really painful but it only tickled a bit! I don't think they do that anymore though,I don't know why as its very effective!

I used Tea Tree and Lemon cream, (from a health food shop), - took about two weeks to clear it.

Don't reply to its text messages or phone calls. If it comes round, leave the lights off and sit in the dark: it'll get the message EVENTUALLY the little monkey! Good luck!
(Don't try the freezing thing - it won't work - just leave it till it goes away of its own accord)
