More than 2 kids makes a large family... and I just feel so sorry for the stay-at-home mom. It's hard to handle one kid, yet a lone 3 or more simultaneously... especially if they're twins, triplets... like that single mom who made headlines for having quadruplets through IVF several years ago.

It really depends on economics. To me, a "large" family would be a family that had more than four children. I guess if the family can be well cared for (preferably with both parents in the home), it really shouldn't matter.
