dont do it. straight up no no. maybe a little fun in the sack but never bring a relationship to work. youll wind up letting something at work affect your relationship and then it will all be for not. and most guys dont like their women being higher in the chain than them. your best bet is to see about a transfer or promoting him to your equal if you still wanna go through with it. if so just be like well ive been admiring your work for some time and was wondering if you would like to talk about it over dinner.

If he works "for" you? What are your organization's ethics policies? Honestly, you might be opening yourself up to a difficult situation if you date someone that works for and under you. It depends on what position each has within the organization and how closely related your positions are, and how many other employees are in your organization. If you have a boss, I would be inclined to find out their take on fraternization or co-workers dating each other before you move further.

Most companies have rules against a supervisor dating their employees because it could result in a sexual harassment lawsuit. This is true for either sex. I would advise against it. If you are really interested in this guy, transfer to a position in which you have no authority over him or find a job with another company. Otherwise, you may find yourself under disciplinary action or unemployed.

It's a protocol for trouble. As a friend once said, "I don't get my meat where I get my bread."

depends on the positions!! I'd be a bit careful to be honest, espec if you're working in quite a professional environment, as it could cause problems if he says no, and you're his line manager - you're meant to be professional at all times and all that.
If you work in a bar or something though, I'd get drunk with him and go for it!!!
Good luck

depends... if he is interested in you... or if he has shown any likings... then straight away go and ask him out... or else .... show him some liking... some special care... some special favors
... and he will be interested you will know... simple... ask him for a personal favor... or do some thing together alone... let him know how do u feel about him...

I wouldn't do it, unless you're cool with everyone knowing what you look like naked. And I mean EXACTLY what you look like naked, because when you break up, that's gonna be his favorite thing to talk about.
