I've heard that too. I tried it and it did not hurt my dog, and I never see any fleas. If you try it, make sure you buy the blue dawn, and keep it away from their eyes.

I do know that Dawn is used safely on wild animals as in water fowl caught in a oil slick. I was told that the Dog Whisperer uses.
Most shampoos will drown the fleas. I use Dawn on one of my girls that has a very oily skin situation. I do use frontline or biospot when possible, lots of rescued dogs and not a lot of $$$.

Adams makes a really good flea/tick product for OTC that actually works. Many vets keep to use on a "flea ridden" patient so kills fleas on contact, don't infest the clinic!!

Yes, although I've never used it, I have heard of people who do this and they say it works great. It's mild enough but you still can't use a whole lot on the dog.
Also, I would recommend using a product like Frontline or Sentinel for the dog in addition to the baths.

I would recommend using frontline plus. But I know that dawn would kill the flees because it stops them from breathing. It probably wouldn't kill the flee eggs though. Dawn how ever is a good way to get skunk smell out of a dog and I know that from experience.

Dawn will drown the fleas but will probably not kill the flea eggs. Be careful not to get in dogs eyes because it will maybe burn.

I don't know about Dawn, but when I got my kitten at 6 weeks she was too young to use any medicated wash or ointment. My vet recommended Head and Shoulders. It worked beautifully!

sunrise dishwash liquid does only almost as good at eliminating the fleas (it washes them off interior the rinse ) and that is safer for your dogs. the different stuff is somewhat poison. Poison isn't healthful for Fleas or your dogs. You wash the fleas down the drain and your dogs doesn't bypass down.make confident you rinse him good.you could positioned "Unicure" on them once you rinse them and it is sweet for his or her dermis and makes them scent genuine good.that is troublesome to discover although.
