Ok so me and 2 other girls were walking home, so then they started running away from me because apparently im a "perv", so then one girl dropped her wallet, i knew that girl well, she once took me roller blading with her father, so then when i get home i open up the wallet which is a Baby Phat brand, and i see: A library card, Borders Rewards Card "dont know the balance though", and i found $17, the girl is usually nice to me but calls me a pervert and stuff like that, what do you guys think i should do? return the wallet OR spend the money to buy something for me and THEN return the wallet?

Return the wallet, but not directly to her. You could send it in the mail, hand it to her parents, give it to the other girl who was with her, and if you are in school together, hand it over to the front office.
I also suggest you end this unhealthy relationship. You're either doing something that causes her to run away, or she's just got a nasty streak and is treating you poorly. Then there's the fact that you seem to feel that because she ran away after calling you a perv, by 'rescuing' her dropped wallet you are possibly entitled to her cash. That in itself doesn't say a lot for you. Even the fact that you felt the need to rummage through her wallet, wondering what the Border's balance might be, etc. doesn't make you sound to good. It would be one thing if you randomly found a wallet and needed to go through it for some form of ID so it could be returned to the owner, but you yourself state that you know the girl well. You had no need to invade her privacy by going through her things.
And the longer you hold onto the wallet, the worse it makes you look. How are you planning on explain why you haven't returned it yet, and if you return it sans money, do you really think that she dropped it running from you, somebody else picked it up before you and stole the money, and THEN you found the wallet?
Get real. It's obvious that your sense of honor is questionable, but at least try to have the intelligence to not continue holding onto the wallet and contemplating stealing from her.

Just return the wallet in whole. Think about it..if that happen to you, wouldn't you want the person to return the wallet and the money. Also it doesn't help the fact that she already thinks that you're a perv, so return the whole thing.

Return the wallet and everything inside it. If you're asking this question, even, it means that you're going to feel guilty if you do anything else. And maybe if you return her wallet, she'll be nicer to you. (If she isn't, next time she calls you a perv, say "well at least you know im not a thief" or something. Hopefully that'll shut her up.)

Depends. She calls you a perv. If I was you, I wouldnt return it. Sell the wallet, spend the money. It isnt alot. Or you can return it to her, and spend the money, yet she will think you stole the money. Or you can steal the money, and leave her wallet right where you found it. She wont know who it was, Unless someone sees you. =)

There is no such thing as Karma. That is all bullshit.
A crime is an act that is prohibeted by law AND proven beyond reasonable doubt. So if you think your action doesn't fit into the that category, go ahead and do whatever you want.
But don't be stupid and return the wallet taking just the money. If you want to spend the money destroy the rest of it.

Give the wallet to the police. if you return it to her she may think you are a stalker. and thats worse than a perv. and if you give it to the police you get that warm fuzzy felling knowing you did something good.
