Esperanto. It is the international language of peace and friendship. It was created as a verbal handshake, to give the world a common second language that was easy to learn, and yet beautiful. In many disciplines the term "elegant" is expressed to mean the simplest solution that solves a problem. Esperanto is indeed an elegant solution. Esperanto is also very poetic and lyrical. For a great example, listen to the song "Amu Min" (Love Me) by Ä´omart and NataÅa, a husband and wife duo.

Italian of course, but French and Spanish rank very close.
There are some harsher sounding languages that I would love to learn say german, swedish, norwegian, russian and possibly arab but in the end they do not ring nice to the ear when spoken.

Italian and French are beautiful languages. Gaelic is also a beautiful language, and both it and Italian are very musical.
