Zackinstein; these words are Fethullah Gulen's. He is a great Muslim and has hundreds of articles like this on his books.

This clip presents an accurate view of tolerance. Unfortunately, many in today's world think that tolerance means acceptance anf approval of every kind of sin and perversion. It doesn't. We should tolerate differences among groups of people and between individuals, except when those differences cross the line into moral evil. Evil can never be tolerated.

Why should we stop at tolerance? Tolerance implies that we disapprove, yet tolerate something. Why can't we simply love, regardless of whether or not we accept someone's choices. Love knows no boundaries, no creed, no faith. It simply showers when given. It has its own intelligence, and will do what is needed. Only by welcoming people, not just by tolerance alone, will real change happen.

Tolerance - something that should be afforded to people, not ideas.

I.e. I "tolerate" theists, I don't tolerate "religion".

"To hate everything is a sign only of insanity or infatuation with Satan."

"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26)

Hrmmm... I see a parallel.

I thought it was true and a great message for Christians who would hate or argue with non-believers and people of other faith. I hope that more Christians embrace this message and other faiths too.
